Happy 2020! One of our Resolutions is finding ways to reduce our carbon footprint. To help with that, we came up with some epic ways in to be eco-friendly with our doggos, and we wanted to share!
Throughout the year (and beyond!), we’ll be scouring the internet for tips on how to remain eco-conscious people and pups, and we’ll be posting them here to share, so check back often for new ideas on how you and your pup can go green together.
To kick off, here’s a basic change you can make to your walks, and a fun and easy DIY toy that resists even the toughest of chewers!
To tie in with another goal of ours—To Go On More Adventures With Our Pups—we’ve decided to always bring a designated garbage bag or two (not just one or two for poops) on our walks, hikes, bikes, and runs. If we spot trash, you can bet we’re picking it up and recycling it properly! And y’all, since we mentioned poop bags, here’s an important read if you use biodegradable ones!
Tidying up our public spaces feels good, and you and your pup can take the time while you stop, to take in all that is around you and just live in the moment.
Sometimes, with our busy schedules, it’s hard for humans to be mindful and present. Dogs, however, live in the moment, and remind us to take the time to enjoy what is right in front of us. So get out there, enjoy the great outdoors, and don’t be afraid to get a little dirty (you could always use gloves)!
Bonus points if you learn to identify your local plants, trees, and wildflowers!

How many pairs of old jeans to you have sitting around? If you’re like us, the total is at least 7. Donating them is always a great idea, but what about the ones that have a few too many holes in awkward places? Dog Toys!!
That’s right! denim is a fabulously durable material, and makes great chew toys. Click the pic below for some seriously excellent crafting ideas that your pup will love.
